What is ICPulse?
ICPulse is a real-time dashboard for the Internet Computer economy. It tracks ICP emission, token distribution, transfer flows, and governance influence in one place. The goal is to make on-chain activity easy to read without running your own queries.
Why does the data stop short of today?
The free view ends two measured days before today. The most recent days are part of Premium. Everything from the first measured day to the end of that open window is free for everyone, and each page states how many days are hidden rather than leaving you to work it out.
What do I get with Premium, and what happens if it lapses?
Premium opens the most recent days, hourly and four-hourly resolution, the per-exchange breakdown, the live feeds, CSV export and personal Telegram alerts. The full list is on the Free vs Premium page. If a subscription ends, nothing is deleted. Your alert settings and your Telegram connection are kept, and access to the depth layer resumes the moment it is renewed.
How do alerts work?
You connect Telegram once from the Alerts page and choose which types reach you, with your own threshold on the ones that carry an amount. Alerts are private to you. They state what was measured, in what window, and where it came from, and none of them is a recommendation. They are best effort. An alert can be late or missed, so nothing time critical should be built on one arriving.
What is Governance Influence?
Influence reads the following configuration that public NNS neurons publish, per governance topic, straight from the governance canister. For each named neuron it shows the voting power it commands, the voting power it holds itself, who it follows, and which named neurons follow it. It is read, not estimated. An earlier version of this page estimated follower power from voting tallies; that measurement did not survive its own control and was withdrawn. The methodology page records why, in full.
What is Commanded VP?
Commanded VP is a neuron's own voting power plus the voting power of the public neurons whose vote it alone decides, through its declared following. It is why a neuron holding almost nothing itself can sit at the top of the table. Decisive counts the followers whose vote this neuron alone settles. Partial counts those where it is one of several. Neither is an estimate: both are read from following configurations that those neurons publish themselves. Because only public neurons publish their following, Commanded VP is a floor over the neurons we map and never a measure of a neuron's real reach.
Why does a neuron show no followers?
Only public neurons publish their following. Roughly 400,000 neurons vote on the NNS and most of them are private, so a follower count here is a floor over the named neurons we map, never a measure of anyone's real following. A neuron shown with no followers may be followed by thousands of private ones. That is why the page says "followed by N of the named neurons" and never "followed by N neurons".
What do the exchange badges mean?
A filled dot () means the exchange wallet was verified via controlled transfers. A hollow dot () means the attribution was inferred from pattern analysis rather than a direct test. Both are explained on the exchanges page.
Can I copy an address out of a transaction list?
No. There is an active address-poisoning campaign on the ICP ledger: look-alike addresses matching the first four or five characters of a real one, and sometimes the last, planted through zero-amount and dust transfers so they appear in histories beside the address they imitate. Checking the start and the end of an address is not a defense. Copy addresses only from a source you control, and check the entire string before funds move.
Where does the data come from?
The ledger and governance data come from the Internet Computer's own APIs, read by our indexer every 60 seconds. The ICP price shown in the header comes from a single external venue. Address attributions from outside sources, such as explorers or clustering lists, are treated as leads only. They never become a label without passing the same verification every other candidate does. See the methodology page.
What do you know about me?
Signing in gives us an anonymous identifier and nothing else. We never see your name and we never see your card. The Privacy Policy lists every field that is held, why, and how to have it deleted.
Is this financial advice?
No. ICPulse is informational only and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Always do your own research. The Terms of Service say the same thing in the document that governs your use of the service.
What is the Proposer Directory?
The Proposer Directory shows who submits proposals, their acceptance rates, and the topics they cover, with data since 2026-07-03.
What does the Holder Concentration card show?
The Holder Concentration card shows the share of supply held by top accounts. Accounts are not the same as entities: one entity may control several accounts.
